Review by hotel critic
Taverna Olteanului offers decent value for the price. the rooms are comfortable with great mountain views, but the carpet urgently needs an update. the welcome drink was a nice touch, adding a personal feel to the stay. Heating worked well, ensuring a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. Free Wi-Fi was convenient, although the signal could be stronger in some areas. the restaurant was satisfactory, although service could be more organized. the terrace provided a pleasant spot to unwind, enjoying the fresh mountain air. Overall, the hotel strikes a balance between affordability and luxury. For those seeking a budget-friendly option with essential amenities and a stunning setting in the Carpathian Mountains, Taverna Olteanului fits the bill.
